Arguably New Zealand’s most renowned and best-loved writer, Janet Frame was born 90 years ago yesterday.

Although, sadly, she is no longer with us, we celebrate her life and achievement by inviting three writers to read their favourite piece of her work and talk briefly about the influence this great author has had on them. With Bernadette Hall, Owen Marshall and Tusiata Avia, introduced by Janet Frame’s niece and literary executor, Pamela Gordon.
