Christchurch faces the unprecedented situation of rebuilding its entire central city in a first world economy in the 21st century. But are the right decisions being made?

Contributors from Freerange Press’s Once in a Lifetime: City-building after Disaster in Christchurch discuss the issues raised in the book, especially the Blueprint, which continues to determine the city’s recovery. Join Raf Manji, Rebecca Macfie, Dr Suzanne Vallance and Ryan Reynolds in discussion with Barnaby Bennett as they consider a range of questions. What has been achieved? What is growing in and falling through the cracks? What could be done better? And, most important, are we creating the sort of city that was envisioned after the quakes?

NB Natalie Jones is unable to be on the panel. She is replaced by Ryan Reynolds.
