Gerard Smyth

Gerard Smyth, who owns Christchurch-based Frank Film, is an award-winning film maker with a strong and long history in telling New Zealand stories, having produced and/or directed over 60 documentaries. In 2012 he was awarded Best Director Documentary at the New Zealand Television Awards for his feature, When a City Falls.
