Jock Phillips

Jock Phillips is one of New Zealand’s leading historians, who has published seminal books on such subjects as stained glass windows, war memorials, immigrants, royal tours and Kiwi men. A former chief historian and conceptual leader at Te Papa, since 2002 he has been general editor of Te Ara, the Encyclopedia of New Zealand.
