Biography

John Pule

John Pule is a poet and artist born in Niue. His work explores the history, mythology and make-up of that country, often in parallel with his experience of New Zealand, where he has lived since 1964. His painting and poetry inform each other and raise questions about cultural belonging and the nature of storytelling.
