NoViolet Bulawayo

NoViolet Bulawayo was born and raised in Zimbabwe and is the current Stegner Fellow at Stanford University in California. Her debut novel, We Need New Names, was shortlisted for the Man Booker in 2013 and won the LA Times Book Award for First Fiction and the Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award in 2014.
