This session brings together two huge imaginations. Laini Taylor is the American author of the smash-hit Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy, which has been described as ‘Northern Lights and Pan’s Labyrinth in one’. Elizabeth Knox is one of New Zealand’s most inventive and exciting writers, whose latest books, Mortal Fire and Wake, inhabit recognisable worlds with fantastical elements.

Both write beautifully, with consummate storytelling skills, and an hour spent in their company will open up new horizons. Chaired by local speculative fiction writer, Helen Lowe.
